About the INF Library

The library is open to the public. Anyone with a permanent residence in Denmark or southern Sweden can register and loan books.
If you are a new student, fill in the form for new users.  Your CPR number will be your borrowers' ID. Danish civil registration number (CPR) must be shown to the staff at the final registration.

The collection is specialized on Library and information science (LIS) but we do have adjacent subjects. We have a very large collection of books and journals. You may use any materials but you cannot borrow everything. For instance the printed journals can be copied for free in the libary but must not leave INF.

You can find our printed materials in our catalogue (Rex) and links to the electronic ressources. If you are just looking for e-journals this link may help you.

The loan period for books is one month unless it is very popular material. Please return the books within the 30 days of a normal loan period. You will get a email reminding you to return the book a few days before the due date. If nobody else has reserved it, you can renew the loan online.

You will be notified by email when a reserved book has been returned. You will then have to pick it up at Copenhagen University Library, South Campus within a week.

If you have any questions, suggestions or just need directions please contact us.
