Study programmes

The Department of Information Studies (INF) offers courses leading to the qualifications of a Bachelor's or a Master's degree in library and information science. INF provides continuing professional education for librarians, other categories of library staff and Information specialists. The total number of students enrolled at INF is about 650.

Master's programme

INF can offer you a full Master's Programme in English: Master of Science (MSc) in Information Science and Cultural Communication. The programme is intended for students with a Bachelor's degree in library and information science (or the equivalent from another higher education institution) or a first degree in Librarianship. Exchange students

Most exchange students study at INF within the frameworks of the Socrates-Erasmus Programme or the Nordplus Programme. Some students study under institutional agreements made between INF and other library schools and universities. Please contact the student counsellor for additional information or read about exchange studies at INF.
